Ashura Day

Today, entire Iran is covered in black and the call of Hussain or Abolfazl (PBUH) can be heard from every corner; All Iranian cities and villages are full of mourners whose eyes are full of tears on the Ashura of Imam Hussain (PBUH).

Hawzah News Agency- Simultaneously with Ashura Day, the entire Iran is witnessing the presence of a large number of mourners in all parts of Islamic Republic of Iran, who shed tears of mourning of men and women in the ordeal of Abba Abdullah Al-Hussein (PBUH) and his honorable companions.

Today, everywhere in Iran is covered in black and the call of Hussain or Abolfazl (PBUT) can be heard from every corner in every city, and groups of mourners attend holy places, mosques and streets to perform Ashura ceremonies.

Hawzah News reporters from all over the country indicate that mourning delegations and processions with a large presence of mourners and lovers of Imam Hussain (PBUH) have come to the streets according to their own local customs and traditions and perform rituals to commemorate Hussain (PBUH).

In the holy city of Mashhad, mourning processions enter the holy shrine of Ali bin Musa al-Reza (PBUH) with special order and splendor to offer their condolences and cry in mourning for Sayyed al-Shohada.

The holy city of Qom, like other cities of our country, has a special atmosphere during the Ashura of Imam Hussain (PBUH), and the Shrine of Lady Masuma (PBUH) is full of mourners whose eyes are full of tears on the Ashura. Different groups of mourners also hit their head and chest as a ritual to commemorate Ashura.

Holy places and mosques around the country witness the presence of many people who are mourning the martyrdom of Sayyed al-Shohada Aba Abdullah (PBUH) and his loyal companions.

Today, the entire Islamic Republic of Iran has adopted the atmosphere of Ashura and the lovers of Imam Hussain (PBUH) have gathered under the banner of " Misbah al-Huda wa Safinahu al-Nijaat " to tell the whole world, especially the adversaries, that they are the continuation of the Hussain school and are not separated from Hussain (PBUH). They shout at top of their longs that " Hayhat minna al-dhilla " (We will not surrender to humiliation.)
